The Parks Foundation of Clark County, in partnership with leadership throughout Clark County, is launching a Nature Play initiative designed to address the growing “nature deficit” in our communities. Nationally acclaimed author and advocate, Richard Louv will lend his expertise to help Clark County kick off a campaign to reconnect kids of all ages with nature. June 22 Nature Play Summit: Keynote speaker, Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods, will discuss the growing nature deficit in our communities and the benefits of nature play during the luncheon portion of the June 22 Nature Play Summit which will be held at the Hilton Downtown Vancouver. In addition to Richard’s luncheon keynote, the all day event includes morning and afternoon break-out sessions presented by local and national leaders in the field of nature, and an Exhibition Fair featuring programs and products designed to inspire nature play. Special reserved tables for ten are also available at a cost of $300 before June 4 and $350 after. Luncheon seating is limited, so please register in advance.
