Development Network for Southwest Washington

Never think you need to apologize for asking someone to give to a worthy cause, any more than as though you were giving him or her an opportunity to participate in a high-grade investment. The duty of giving is as much his or hers as is the duty of asking yours.
John D.Rockefeller, Jr.

Development Network For Southwest Washington offers fundraisers an opportunity to get together to share ideas, inspiration and resources.  Presenters offer timely information to help nonprofits succeed and shine.
Some programs are specific to those working in fundraising, others may be integrated with programs for executive directors, volunteer managers, and boards of directors.

Membership
Development Network participation is open to all those who raise funds for Southwest Washington community organizations.
Is this you?  Staff, board members, volunteers ~ all are welcome!

Presentation Meetings
The group meets several times throughout the year, at varying times to suit many schedules.  Topics are identified with the help of a survey to the nonprofit community (Spring 2008) and recommendations of the Development Network Advisory.
• Generally the meetings are 90-minute breakfast or lunch meetings.
• On-line registration.  RSVP required.
• Cost varies with location, meal.
• An administrative meeting fee (usually $5) is waived for Nonprofit Network Members.
