Raise More Money with Less Effort and Stress!

Do you feel constant pressure to deliver results, with other people’s expectations, goals and deadlines forcing frenetic activity?

If you feel distracted and behind, this session will shine a light on the most strategic ways to raise the most money with the least effort, and give you the tools to let go of the strategies and tactics that aren’t serving you. Count on no-nonsense answers that amplify your mission and fit into a sane schedule.

Susan Howlett has been raising money joyfully for over 40 years, as a board member, development director, executive director, and – for the last 25 years – as a consultant to over 1000 nonprofits nationwide.  Long-time leader in several professional associations, Susan has been core faculty in the University of Washington’s year-long Fundraising Certificate Program for 20 years.  Her two recent books have strengthened hundreds of organizations:  Boards on Fire! Inspiring Leaders to Raise Money Joyfully and Getting Funded: The Complete Guide to Writing Grant Proposals, 5th edition.   A sought-after speaker, Susan is known for offering practical solutions to persistent problems, delivered with humor, engaging activities, stories, and chocolate!
