Current Clark County Youth Engagement Projects

Project Service LeadershipEnriching communities and schools through service-learning.
Founded in 1988, Project Service Leadership has provided resources, training and support for teachers, schools and organizations implementing service -learning. Kate is currently a lead trainer and coach for Coalition of Essential Schools Northwest’s Service-Learning Exchange: http://www.cesnorthwest.org/servicelearningexchange.

Heritage High School is a member of this Network.

Civic Engagement Center – WSU-Vancouver received funding from Washington Campus Compact to support a planning process to establish a service-learning presence on its campus and facilitate the community-wide collaboration that supports civic engagement. The Civic Engagement Center will support Clark County K-20 service-learning and help citizens of all ages develop a sense of pride and purpose as they share their time, talent and treasure in benefit to the community.
